Typically, we complete this quick and comfortable procedure during a routine cleaning visit. Before moving forward, we will discuss whether it is the right choice for your child and answer any questions you may have.
What to expect during a sealant visit:
- First, we clean and dry the teeth.
- Next, we briefly apply a gentle conditioning solution.
- Then, we place the sealant material into the grooves of the tooth.
- After that, we use a special light to harden the material.
- Your child can usually eat normally right after the visit.
