Providing Compassionate Care From Phone Call to Chair

From your first phone call, you’ll feel the difference. We take time to listen, answer questions, and walk you through what to expect—so you never feel rushed or unsure.

Whether your child is excited, nervous, wiggly, or needs extra support, we tailor the experience to help them feel successful and proud.

Our Logo Story

The heart behind our character matters to us—because it reflects what we believe pediatric dentistry should feel like: personal, joyful, and built on connection.

While in dental school and working toward becoming a pediatric dentist, Dr. Derrow lived in Indianapolis and worked as a nanny. One day, a bright, creative six-year-old named Sara drew an alligator. Dr. Derrow loved it so much that she saved it—and later asked Sara’s family if she could use the artwork for the practice’s logo.

Not long after, Dr. Derrow learned something that made the drawing feel even more meaningful: historically, an alligator was often used as a symbol of the dentist in the Middle Ages. That happy coincidence turned Sara’s drawing into the perfect mascot for Auburn Pediatric Dentistry.

Today, our friendly alligator reminds us why we do what we do—creating a place where kids feel comfortable, cared for, and celebrated at every visit.

Behind every brave visit is a team that truly loves kids. From the first phone call to the final sticker, we focus on making your family feel welcomed, listened to, and confident about your child’s care.

Dr. Caroline Derrow

Dr. Caroline W. Derrow and her team are committed to your children’s oral health! Our team helps make treatment fun and effective. Our patients are like family to us, and we care about providing the very best pediatric dental treatment in the area.

When establishing her practice, Dr. Derrow worked hard to create a safe and welcoming environment where she could meet the specific dental and emotional needs of growing children while fostering good dental habits and instilling healthy and positive attitudes toward dental visits. She adheres to the guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatrics, which state that all children should have a dental home by their first birthday.
